About Hampton Behavioral Health Center

A Higher Standard of Care

Hampton Behavioral Health Center offers unparalleled inpatient and outpatient treatment for adolescents, adults, dually diagnosed adults (mental health and addiction issues) and older adults. Understanding the diverse needs of our patients, we also offer Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) on both an inpatient and outpatient basis. Our main campus is centrally located in Westampton Township, New Jersey, and houses our 120-bed inpatient facility as well as Hampton Counseling Center, providing Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization (PHP) services. Hampton Counseling Center’s satellite outpatient locations are located in Cherry Hill and Camden County.

We treat a variety of psychiatric diagnoses, including, but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, psychosis and behavioral health conditions with co-occurring chemical dependencies. Most patients are admitted to Hampton Behavioral Health Center voluntarily; however, sometimes family or friends intervene to help a loved one who may be putting themselves or others at risk. Hampton Behavioral Health Center’s dedicated units and distinct programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each population we serve. After a comprehensive evaluation to assess a patient’s needs, a multidisciplinary treatment team develops a treatment plan tailored for that patient. The treatment team is led by a psychiatrist and consists of advanced practice nurses, registered nurses, licensed social workers, creative therapists, addiction counselors and mental health associates.

*ECT is for persons 18 years or older
