We understand that this can be a difficult time and will work with family members to keep them informed and involved during the treatment process. Please note that Hampton fully complies with all state and federal confidentiality rules.
Visiting hours for each unit are posted below. Please note that no visitors under the age of 18 are allowed and only two visitors at a time are permitted.
Visiting hours are:
Adolescent Unit
Only parents or guardians may visit adolescent patients
Monday – Friday 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Adult Unit
Last names A-L:
Monday & Thursday 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Last names M-Z:
Wednesday & Friday 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Sunday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
Dual Diagnosis
No visiting is permitted for the first 48 hours after admission; after that, visitors are restricted to immediate family only.
Saturday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. with the Family Education Program to follow 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.
Older Adult Unit
Monday – Friday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. & 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. & 6:30 – 7:30 p.m.
When visiting loved ones, staff must check all items before being given to a patient to ensure safety. Items such as pens, pencils, lighters, or glass or sharp objects are not permitted. Outside food and beverages are not permitted on the Adult or Dual Units; there are pantries on each unit with snacks and beverages. For patients on the Adolescent and Older Adult units, small quantities of food may be brought in (only enough to be consumed during the visit). Please do not bring caffeinated beverages or items in glass containers.
