Hampton Behavioral Health Center’s main campus is located in Westampton Township, Burlington County, NJ. The beautiful 23-acre campus houses a 110-bed inpatient facility featuring semi-private bedrooms with bathrooms on 4 distinct units – Adolescent, Adult, Dual Diagnosis and Older Adult. Patients enjoy the full service cafeteria offering meals with our patient’s health in mind. Understanding the diverse dietary needs of our patients, Hampton’s lead registered dietician includes kosher and vegetarian options.
The Creative Therapy Department encourages patients to express themselves and explore healthy coping skills in Art Therapy, Music Therapy, and Therapeutic Recreation groups. Patients also have an opportunity to attend groups in an off-unit setting in the Creative Therapy room or at the Sports Court to practice healthy leisure and social skills. All Creative Therapy groups are facilitated by qualified Art Therapists, Music Therapists, and Therapeutic Recreation Specialists. Alternative therapies offered at Hampton include recreation therapy, yoga and pet therapy. The newly renovated sports courts allow patients to not only exercise but reduce stress, improve self confidence and develop social skills. Yoga is making its return to Hampton and will be offered twice a week to help patients find a calm center and reduce muscle tension. Pet therapy is available to improve patients emotional and physical functioning.
Hampton Counseling Center is located at the main campus as well as two satellite locations: Cherry Hill, Camden County, and Hamilton Township, Mercer County. Patients participate in group therapy with our clinically trained staff in a welcoming environment with comfortable accommodations. The spacious group rooms provide an optimal setting for healing and recovery.
